📣 Attention Folks! The AFDC is excited to promote our FREE Fall Women Matching Player Goaltimate (Goalty)league! 📣
You read that right - 🎉 ALL PLAYERS PAY $0 🎉 to play in this league!
We have secured Defoors field (2400 Defoors Ferry Rd NW) for league on Saturday mornings, 9am-11am, from September 26th through November 14th.
Our opening day, 9/26, may morph into pick up style play if attendance looks shaky with club regionals that day (good luck to all competing!). We will have pizza to celebrate the full kick off on Saturday, 10/3. 11/14 will be our end of season tournament.
This league is an inclusive space explicitly open to cisgender women, transgender women, and non-binary or gender-expansive individuals who feel a women’s/marginalize genders sports space is the right fit for them.
